      
About UsWorld Overcomers Bible College, formerly World Overcomers Bible Institute was founded according to a heavenly revelation given to Dr. Eddie L. Barnes nearly ten years ago. With that revelation, God gave him a vision to teach God's word to those who were called to minister God's word and "change the world through education". It is the mission of World Overcomers Bible College to support the local church by providing scriptural knowledge and practical training to dedicated Christians that they may be equipped to serve God and minister to the spiritual needs of others. WOBC is an accredited member of the Accrediting Commission International. ACI, the world's largest non-government related�accrediting association, is not connected with any state Department of Higher Education or the U.S. Department of Education. All credits are transferable to the other 316 members of ACI. Degree Programs of study offered by WOBC have been declared exempted from the requirements of licensor under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes (G.S.)116-15(d) for exemption from licensor with respect to religious education. Exemption is not based upon any assessment of program quality under licensing standards.
Academic Calendar:
World Overcomers Bible College will be open for business any weekday during the Year. However, WOBC will observe the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday, Thanksgiving (Thursday - Friday), and Christmas Break, December 20-31.  |
